Portés par leur engouement pour la musique, Mylène et Dominic unissent leurs forces et mettent à profit leurs parcours artistiques et professionnels diversifiés pour fonder TRANSCEND.e et propulser la carrière d’artistes en qui ils croient, avec énergie et bienveillance.

Building on their communal passion for music, Mylène and Dominic vowed to join forces and to put their diversified artistic and professional experiences to work as they founded TRANSCEND.e, in order to bring artists and their careers to the next level, with care and energy.

Mylène Tremblay a d’abord foulé la scène avec ses chaussons de ballerine, comme enfant dans le Casse-Noisette des Grands Ballets Canadiens, avant de rejoindre l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec. Jeune adulte, elle découvre sa voix et une nouvelle voie: celle des comédies musicales, au Cégep Édouard-Montpetit (où elle rencontre le cofondateur de TRANSCEND.e), avant de poursuivre ses études en théâtre musical et musique à l’École de théâtre professionnel du Collège Lionel-Groulx.

Elle part ensuite en direction du Japon, où elle chante tantôt l’hymne national au Tokyo Dome, tantôt des standards jazz dans de grands hôtels, en plus d’enregistrer des jingles pour la télé et la radio. En parallèle, elle développe un intérêt marqué pour les causes sociales et prend bientôt la route du Kenya pour participer à des projets humanitaires dotés d’un volet artistique.

Mylène a également été déléguée canadienne pour le programme international du “Bateau des jeunes du monde” (Ship for World Youth) en collaboration avec l’Université des Nations Unies (Japon, Inde, Kenya, Singapour).

De retour au bercail, elle complète ses études en droit et a ensuite l’occasion de travailler comme avocate sur des enjeux touchant aux droits de la personne, droits des enfants, droits des peuples autochtones et droit criminel, entre autres. Elle est également diplômée du Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Programme, d’où elle ressort avec de nouvelles cordes à son arc de gestionnaire.

À l’image de son développement personnel et professionnel, Mylène voit en TRANSCEND.e la faculté de penser hors du cadre et d’unir des intérêts et des aptitudes variés qui, loin d’être incompatibles, permettent au contraire d’aller toujours plus loin.

Mylène Tremblay was just a kid when she made her first steps onstage, part of the Nutcracker ensemble of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Right on “pointe”, she then studied at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. As she came of age, she discovered her voice and started signing in numerous musicals produced by Cégep Édouard-Montpetit – where she met TRANSCEND.e cofounder – before entering the musical theater and music program at the École de théâtre professionnel of Collège Lionel-Groulx.

She then took off for Japan, performing national anthems in front of thousands at the Tokyo Dome, charming the crowd at posh hotels with jazz standards and recording tv and radio jingles.

With a burgeoning interest for social justice, she soon headed to Kenya to take part in humanitarian projects, before embarking on the Ship for World Youth as a Canadian delegate, following a United Nations University program and touching ground in India and Singapore, among other destinations.

Back home, she founded a family and undertook law studies. She then had the opportunity to work as a lawyer on issues pertaining to human and children rights, Indigenous peoples rights and criminal law. She also graduated from the Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Programme, garnering new managerial skills.

Mirroring her personal and professional experience, Mylène brings to TRANSCEND.e her ability to think outside the box and her belief that combining varied skills and aptitudes does not hinder, but rather enables one to always go further.

Dominic Larose a toujours su jumeler la rigueur au feeling. Qu’il s’agisse de lire une partition ou d’analyser un chiffrier Excel, il ne rate pas une note et conserve son groove quoiqu’il advienne.

Grand passionné de musique dès l’adolescence, il apporte sa guitare électrique au Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, où il participe à de nombreuses comédies musicales (et développe son amitié avec la cofondatrice de TRANSCEND.e). Quand une partie de la troupe démarre un volet professionnel (Kazida), il rejoint l’aventure et fait partie de la distribution musicale d’une version francophone de The Wall au légendaire Club Soda.

Il enfile les solos sur les cordes au sein de plusieurs groupes musicaux, dont NSF Les insolvables (des noms tout en clins d’œil qui font écho à son intérêt pour la finance). De concert en concert, il cumule les déficits de sommeil et met à profit son talent de musicien aux Francos, à l’émission Belle et Bum, ainsi qu’au challenge Molson Dry de CKOI, où il fait partie des finalistes.

Un jour, il accroche sa guitare pour retourner sur les bancs d’école, aux HEC. Il en ressort avec son titre de CPA auditeur dans les mains.

Il compte plus d’une décennie comme gestionnaire en comptabilité et finances, au sein d’un prestigieux cabinet d’avocats notamment. C’est désormais à son compte qu’il accompagne les entrepreneurs dans leurs besoins d’information et de modernisation, en plus d’être le cofondateur d’une entreprise en démarrage dans le domaine de l’intelligence artificielle.

Visionnaire. Papa bienveillant. Rockeur moqueur. Comme un accord majeur, Dominic touche à plusieurs cordes à la fois.

Le musicien en lui est peut-être sorti de scène, mais il n’a jamais quitté les coulisses de la production artistique. Avec TRANSCEND.e, il souhaite appuyer les artistes dans leur développement et leur épanouissement, musical comme financier.

Dominic Larose is equal parts rigor and feeling. Whether he needs to decode a music score or fine tune an Excel table, he never skips a beat and keeps his groove at all times.

Cultivating a great passion for music at an early age, he brought his electric guitar to Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, where he joined the band of various musical productions – and developed his friendship with TRANSCEND.e cofounder. He was also part of Kazida, the professional spin-off of the college musicals team, presenting an all-French version of The Wall at the famed Club Soda.

Never a solo guy – other than on the guitar! – he cofounded and performed with bands whose names echoed his interest for the world of finance, such as NSF and Les insolvables. With perhaps a slight sleeping deficit, he earned interest for his musical talent, performing at the Francos, music TV show Belle et Bum, as well as reaching the finals of the Molson Dry music challenge with CKOI radio station.

When he hung up his guitar, it was to go back to school at HEC Montréal, where he obtained his CPA auditor designation upon graduation.

After more than a decade as accountability and finance manager – including for a top law firm – he started his own business to support business owners with their financial information and modernization needs. He also recently cofounded an AI startup.

Visionnaire. Caring dad. Rocker. Just like a major chord, Dominic is a 3-in-1.
